Acne

Acne

Chronic inflammatory condition characterized by comedones, papules, pustules, cysts and scars.

Acne vulgaris is a common problem which affects more than 80% of teens. The maximum age of the patient is 18 years. Men and women are equally affected.

The cause of acne is a complex interaction between sex hormones, increased production of sebum, clogging of skin pores (causing blackheads), and colonization of the skin with Propionibacterium.

There are some other rare causes:
Endocrine - Polycystic ovary syndrome, Cushing's syndrome
Scratching - acne excoriee
Aromatic industrial chemicals - chloracne
Cosmetics
Drugs - steroids, sex hormones
Physical obstruction

Symptoms include comedones, purulent pimples, red spots, cysts and scars that may be present at previously infected sites. In severe cases, abscesses with scars (conglobate acne) may be present.

You can choose from a variety of classic acne treatment therapies.

The following therapies in natural medicine are available: bioresonance, homeopathy, nutrition, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, reflexology.
