Leaky gut syndrome

Leaky gut syndrome

The intestinal wall represents the largest surface between the outside world and the insides of the body, through which digested substances are transmitted. At the same time, the intestinal mucous membrane is also a good natural barrier against harmful substances, bacterial toxins, harmful inorganic heavy metals and similar substances. Many harmful substances are capable of severely damaging the mucosal natural defense barrier, triggering immune responses and an invasion of antigens into the bloodstream.

The most common consequences of leaky gut syndrome are:

  • inflammation of the intestines
  • weak absorption of vitamins and minerals
  • passage of larger molecules - antigens that trigger immune responses
  • local and systemic inflammations

The BICOM bioresonance method provides an overview of bacterial flora, harmful inorganic substances such as heavy metals, as well as foods that harm the intestinal immune system.
